TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to TACJAC LLC ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, subscription-based AI-powered legal support platform, and connections to independent licensed attorneys (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

 

1. Subscription Model

Our Services are offered on a quarterly or annual subscription basis, billed at the start of each billing cycle. Subscription fees grant you access to:

  • An AI-powered tool that provides general legal information.
     

  • The ability to be connected with an independent, licensed attorney in your jurisdiction for a separate legal engagement.
     

Billing Terms:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
     

  • You authorize us to charge your provided payment method on a recurring basis unless canceled.
     

  • All fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or otherwise explicitly stated.
     

 

2. Strictly Informational Services – No Legal Advice

We do not and will never provide legal advice. The AI tool available through our platform provides general, informational content only and should not be relied upon as legal guidance.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • No attorney-client relationship is created through the use of our platform or AI.
     

  • All content generated by our AI tool is informational and does not constitute legal, financial, business, or other professional advice.
     

  • You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use any information from the AI tool.
     

  • If you require legal advice, you must consult with a licensed attorney.
     

 

3. Attorney Referrals Are Independent Engagements

Our platform may assist you in connecting with a licensed attorney in your state. These attorneys are independent third parties, not employees, agents, or representatives of TACJAC LLC

  • Any relationship you form with an attorney is solely between you and that attorney.
     

  • We do not supervise, control, or guarantee any legal services or advice provided by attorneys.
     

  • We are not a law firm, do not engage in the practice of law, and make no representations regarding the quality or outcome of legal services provided by referred attorneys.
     

 

4. User Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
     

  • Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
     

  • Use the Services for lawful purposes only.
     

 

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity or the nature of your business;
     

  • Use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
     

  • Represent any AI output as legal advice;
     

  • Attempt to bypass or misuse our platform, AI system, or attorney network.
     

 

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

a. Informational Use Only
We expressly disclaim any liability arising from reliance on AI-generated content. You agree that no information provided via our Services shall be construed as legal advice or used as a substitute for legal counsel.

b. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, timely, or reliable.

c. Exclusion of Damages
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or data.

d. Maximum Liability
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you during the 12 months preceding the claim.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All materials, branding, software, content, and documentation made available through the Services are owned by TACJAC LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

 

8. Privacy and Data Use

Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices.

 

9. Termination and Cancellation

a. Your Right to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time. However, cancellations are only effective at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not issue prorated refunds.

b. Our Right to Suspend or Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services for any reason, including misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms.

 

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Binding Arbitration
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Plymouth County, Massachusetts.

 

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
